In July 2025, the Chinese Institute Geneva Foundation (CIG) wrapped up two unforgettable cross-cultural summer camps filled with learning and emotion.
Following the successful conclusion of the “Root-Seeking Journey” camp in Xiangxi, Hunan on July 16, the “Immersive Chinese” University Experience Camp, hosted by Zhejiang Wanli University, also ended smoothly on July 19. CIG participants completed intensive language studies and cultural practice, all passed evaluations and received certificates. Beyond the classroom, they immersed themselves in the charm of Ningbo and the surrounding Jiangnan region—from a Shaoxing opera tour tracing southern melodies to visits to high-tech enterprises, from traditional arts to modern innovation—gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture through rich and varied experiences.
