2026 Overseas Chinese Educators’ “Red Candle” Tour of Fujian Concludes Successfully
The 2026 Overseas Chinese Educators’ “Red Candle” Tour of Fujian has successfully concluded. A total of 25 Chinese language educators from around the world gathered in Fujian Province to explore its rich historical and cultural heritage, discover the spirit of overseas Chinese communities, and witness the region’s modern development through cultural visits and educational exchanges.
Representing the Chinese Institute Geneva Foundation (CIG), Switzerland, we gained valuable insights and unforgettable experiences throughout the journey. The programme offered opportunities to trace the footsteps of overseas Chinese communities, appreciate their patriotism and cultural identity, discover the unique charm of southern Fujian’s traditions, visit innovative enterprises, and strengthen educational exchanges and future cooperation.
This inspiring journey broadened our horizons, fostered new friendships, and reinforced our commitment to promoting Chinese language education and preserving Chinese cultural heritage abroad.
