Youth Gold Award: Switzerland’s Li Tengyu Wins Guzheng Honors
On December 20, 2024, Li Tengyu from the CIG was awarded the Guzheng Youth Gold Award at the “Global Chinese Youth Music Showcase 2024” hosted by the China Overseas Chinese Education Foundation. The event, starting from September 26, featured participants from 63 institutions across 28 countries, showcasing their mastery and passion for traditional Chinese music.
Li’s performance not only demonstrated technical excellence but also a deep love for traditional Chinese music, earning high praise from the judges and the prestigious gold award in the youth category. The competition, fostering cultural exchange among Chinese youths globally, highlighted traditional Chinese musical arts and contemporary talent.
In addition to individual awards, 20 institutions received commendations for their exceptional organization of the event.
