(Geneva, Switzerland) – On February 13, 2025, Chinese Institute Geneva Foundation was invited by the Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva to participate in the Spring Festival celebration, joining distinguished guests in welcoming the Year of the Snake.
Attendees included Professor Guo Chunning, Chinese co-president of Renmin University of China, Vice President Xie Honghua, Counselor Mao Yizong and Wang Yan from the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland, Ms. Tang Yiliang from the Education Section of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland, and Mr. Gérald Béroud (Bai Hao), founder of Sinoptic.
Teachers and students from University of Geneva, and Chinese Institute Geneva Foundation actively participated in talent performances, showcasing the achievements of Chinese language education. This event not only strengthened collaboration with the Confucius Institute at the University of Geneva but also provided local Chinese students and Mandarin learners with an opportunity to experience Chinese culture.
