HSK (Level 3) focuses on the ability of candidates to use Chinese to complete basic communication tasks in life, study and work. HSK 3 is designed for learners who can use Chinese to serve the demands of their personal lives, studies, and work. Test-takers at this level are expected to have a vocabulary of around 600 words and be able to communicate in Chinese for a range of everyday topics. This includes the ability to discuss familiar topics, express opinions, and provide simple explanations.
I. Test Object
HSK (Level 3) is mainly aimed at beginners with general Chinese listening, reading and writing skills.
II. Test Content
HSK (Level 3) focuses on Chinese listening, reading and writing skills, as well as the corresponding topics, tasks, grammar and 1000 Chinese words.
III. Test Structure
HSK (Level 3) consists of 80 questions, which are divided into three sections: listening, reading and writing. The test lasts about 90 minutes (including 5 minutes for candidates to complete the personal information form).
