On 24 June 2026, Geneva experienced a period of intense heat. In line with the heatwave safety measures, some classes could be adapted or cancelled depending on the situation. However, with appropriate precautions taken to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone, the CIG Chinese class remained full of energy and enthusiasm.
For the final lesson of the school year, Ms. Cuizhu Wang carried out her teaching duties with great dedication and responsibility. She accompanied the students with patience, care and enthusiasm until the very end, helping them complete the year in the best possible conditions. Her commitment, professionalism and warm attention to the children deserve our heartfelt appreciation.
During the lesson, the students reviewed what they had learned throughout the year and actively took part in reading, writing, vocabulary and speaking activities. Through every word, every character and every effort, they brought the 2025-2026 school year to a meaningful close.
At the end-of-year ceremony, the students received their completion certificates. These certificates are not only a recognition of their progress in Chinese, but also a record of their perseverance and efforts throughout the year. As a special reward, the school also offered each child a lovely little panda shoulder bag, bringing smiles and excitement to the classroom.
Despite the hot weather, the parents also prepared a thoughtful surprise by buying ice cream for every child. CIG sincerely thanks the parents for their support of the school and for their kindness and care toward the students.
The heat did not stop the joy of learning, nor did it lessen the children’s love for the Chinese language and culture. CIG warmly thanks the teachers for their dedication, the parents for their trust and support, and congratulates all students on successfully completing the 2025-2026 school year. We look forward to seeing them continue to grow and progress with the same enthusiasm next year.
